The certificate (which belongs to level 3 on the CO₂ performance ladder) also shows the world what the joint efforts are in this area. In addition, the Scalabor, Sportbedrijf Arnhem and the municipality are helping to realize their energy and climate ambitions. Concrete measures
The Climate Plan, which also includes the CO₂ footprint of the municipal organization, contains specific measures, such as regionally generated green energy, solar panels on its own premises, the replacement of public lighting by LED lamps in phases and making the fleet of vehicles more sustainable.

Transitional arrangements give organisations two years to progress to Handbook 4.0 The transition from Handbook 3.1 to 4.0 is the largest revision of the CO2 Performance Ladder to date.
